PRESS RELEASE - Cirque des Fleurs
The EMCC was a scene of lively action, with flowers, foliages, sundries and accessories in an array of colours and forms being configured into displays by designers.
Levels of expectation were exceeded, as onlookers were entertained with thrilling and captivating performances and displays showing floristry and floral art that any ringmaster would be proud to present as a main event.
Competitor rolled up to complete amongst each other at different levels, for various categories and to a range of different criteria, helping to fill the venue with spectacular designs and feats of accomplishments that gave visitors awesome exhibits to view, ponder over and admire. Publications, membership and vast range of other goods (with special offers and exclusive offers) were also available for purchasing by those who attended.
What a fabulous opportunity for Members to gather together and participate in a production that gives the floristry profession the opportunity to show what talent the British have to offer. Visitors from a wide spectrum of subject related groups attended Cirque des Fleurs, including florists, tutors, students, designers, artists, industry specialists, suppliers, etc and those who have a general interest in flowers.
The finale being the announcement of winners and awarding of prizes was followed with an encore of opportunities to purchase floral exhibits and displays.
A big clean up and clear up ended the day, the big top and all its contents removed to give way for the next show. Wow, what a day – fun – filled, action-packed and exhilarating. Next performance, not to be missed will be the AGM.
